John Mills-Cockell is an icon of contemporary Canadian music. He was one of the the first to perform live on the Moog synthesizer with the early 70s electro acoustic ensemble Syrinx. I had the pleasure of working with John for a rebirth of the group to play at the 2017 Moogfest in Durham NC. Since then we have worked together on a project which will result in the creation of a piece for loopers and saxophone.
